OCT 3D Retinal Scans
We have a Zeiss Cirrus Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) scanner. This allows us to see a detailed 3D image of the inside of the eye.
These images help us to detect conditions earlier than we could with other tests, including:
- Glaucoma.
- Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
- Vitreous Detachment.
- Macular Holes.
Our OCT scan is a standard part of your sight test (either private or NHS), it will cost you £20, this is included in the private sight test fee but is an additional charge for NHS patients.
If we do a scan only (without a sight test), usually on referral from another optometrist or doctor, the cost is £45.
